The participants have different functional roles, they take on these roles or tasks in the game.

The goals are explained. To achieve certain production goals, reduce waste or to increase efficiency and to recognize possible variation.

The first round of the game begins and the teams work according to the current processes and rules. In this phase, the inefficient, wasteful way of working is usually demonstrated. The process indicators are determined and recorded based on the Six Sigma philosophy.

After the first round of the game, the teams meet to talk about their experiences. This can be an open discussion or a structured reflection in which the teams talk about waste and varation in the process and opportunities for improvement.

The teams will be the basic principles of lean management, such as: B. the elimination of waste (Muda), the creation of river (flow) and the continuous improvement (Kaizen). The data, FTT, OEE, DTD, BTS, WIP, and times recorded in the game round are visualized and evaluated.

The second round of the game begins, and the teams set lean principles and techniques such as 5s, 7 Mudas, Kaizen and Kanban, pull production or value analysis and the knowledge from the recorded metrics to improve the working methods.

After the second round of the game, the teams meet again to discuss their results and experiences. As a rule, the teams should achieve better performance in this round and reduce waste.

In the third round, further measures are implemented by the profit in the 2 round. As soon as the round 3 is carried out without speaking.

Both concepts, process capability and hypothesent tests are of great importance in statistics and quality management. While the process capability contributes to evaluating and improving the quality and ability of processes for the production of products or services, hypothesent tests are used to draw conclusions about data and differences in reality.

The game management carries out a final discussion in which the most important concepts and knowledge is emphasized. The participants reflect on their own work areas about the applicability of these principles.

The Lean Six Sigma is summarized and the participants are given the opportunity to ask questions and have further discussions.

The certificate is signed and a special alumni pin is handed over to each participant and the becomes member of the guild of the Sigma community.
